The media could not be loaded.I have built several star ceiling/panels for home use over the years and have tried several generator brands and models. I believe this brand and model works great so far. Price point is competitive, can’t speak yet to durability but it’s been in use 24/7 for almost 2 months now without any problems. I do have to say that bluetooth control using the phone app is not always that stable. Sometimes the connection will not work until I shut down power and switch it back on. The separate remote control does work fine. Perhaps it is specific to my phone model, perhaps something else but I can work around that small inconvenience. I have multiple star generators from this brand and all have similar intermittent connection issues. Not a deal breaker though. The twinkling wheel makes a bit of a grinding noise (they all do) so I have to turn it off at night because I installed it in the bedroom. I also wish that the separate remote would allow more steps in dimming the light. As it is, the lowest setting is still too bright when it is dark in the room so I had to use some cheap neutral density sheets and placed that between the LED source and fiber optic connector which solved my problem. I think the remote only allows 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% whereas the phone app can dim with any value from 0% to 100%.Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this star generator. I mostly use the true white light option which looks most natural and mimics the starry night sky the best.Attached are a few shots of my project, a milkyway star panel that I installed against the wall with shooting star. For this project I’m actually using a fixed 450 star generator without twinkle effect to show static stars and in addition I have this 1000 star generator with twinkle effect and then the third generator for the shooting star effect. It all looks better in real life but the pictures should give you an idea.I can recommend this star generator!08/29/2023 UPDATE:===================The star ceiling project has been running 24/7 and still going strong with no issues.I was able to reduce the *grinding* sound from the twinkle wheel by wrapping it in a sheet of rubber which helps reduce vibrations. Now it can run all night without being bothered by grinding sounds. I’m starting a new starceiling project this month, this next one will be a spiral galaxy with a total of close to 2000 stars ?
