This review is for the UKYEE 1 Gang Low Voltage Mounting Bracket.I picked these up to do a little bit of rework in our office to run wires from one room to another via passing through the walls. These were an attractive option as it seemed simpler than attempting to fit in a normal rework box. These should only be used for low voltage mounts as it relies on the friction mount in the wall along with the tabs to hold against the back of the drywall vs the more traditional rework box of hitting a stud. I would not push my luck trying anything more than a 2xEthernet plate, but I am super conservative when it comes to this.Install is just like every other rework box I’ve used, identify the location of the studs, offset as appropriate, flip the mount around, draw the two corners then cut a straight line with a drywall saw, oscillating tool, or rotozip depending on your toolbox. The difference on these is the tabs which provide back pressure to mount the box in place.
